Our MP in Dulwich & West Norwood, Helen Hayes was re-elected with 65.5% of the vote and a majority of 27,310.

Following the June 8th general election our Labour MP for Dulwich & West Norwood is again Helen Hayes who received 39,096 votes, a massive 28,156 ahead of her nearest rivals. The Tories got 10,940, the Lib Dems 4,475 , the Greens 1,408 and two independents 121 & 103 votes. Candidates who get less than 5% of the total votes lose a £500 deposit.
In 2015 Helen was first elected to parliament with 27,772 votes and since then has gained an excellent reputation as hard working local MP.

Helen Hayes, the Labour candidate, was selected on 7th May as the new MP for Dulwich & West Norwood . Helen has a significant majority – over 16,000 votes.
The results are:
Labour – 27,772 (54.1%)
Conservative – 11,650 (22.7%)
Lib Dem – 5,055 (9.8%)
Green – 4,844 (9.4%)
UKIP – 1,606 (3.1%)
TUSC – 248 (0.5%)
