Brian Foxley of Centre 70
Centre 70 is our local advice centre at 46 Knights Hill SE27 0JD (opposite West Norwood train station) and has been helping local people since it started in 1970! And many people need more help than ever . Drop in between 6pm and 8pm on Thursday 24th September to Centre 70’s open evening at Portico Gallery , 23 Knights Hill SE27 0HS to find out about the different ways Centre 70 provides support and how we can all get involved. Helen Hayes, the newly elected Labour MP for West Norwood, holds regular advice sessions every second Friday of the month (except August) at 10am-11.30am in West Norwood Leisure Centre , Devane Way SE27 0DF.
Other sessions take place (except August) every:
- first Friday 12.30pm to 2pm at East Dulwich Community Centre, Darrell Road SE22 9NL
- third Friday 10am – 11.30am at Brixton Advice Centre, 165-167 Railton Road SE24 0LU

In need of advice and not sure where to turn? Come along to free Community Signposting event at St Luke’s Church, Knights Hill SE27 0HS between 10am and 2pm on Friday 31st January.
Run by Norwood Foodbank, this day will offer the community an opportunity to get advice and support around a range of topics. The day is open to anyone regardless of age or current situation. Working with Lambeth SHP, Centre 70, Every Pound Counts, CAP and Ingeus, you will find advice on money management; dealing with debt; accessing bank accounts; benefits; job search support and housing.
Also information & resources about keeping warm and healthy in winter aimed at those more at risk.
And support for people preparing for an interview – including a limited range of outfits for those needing them.
