Back for its 3rd year is the West Norwood Free Film Festival at various venues around the town centre .

West Norwood Feast is back on Sunday 7th April after its winter break ! The weather will be warmer at a welcome 16 degrees C too!

Parking bays on Devane Way
Parking is very limited in Devane Way SE27 – the road leading up to West Norwood Health & Leisure Centre. Most people access the centre on foot.
Next week the parking bays will be repainted to clearly indicate where parking is permitted for up to 10 minutes. Parking enforcement teams will visit from time to time. They will issue tickets to vehicles they see parked for over 10 minutes.
Barrier with buzzer
There are 5 parking spaces for blue badge holders right outside the Health & Leisure Centre. Anyone with limited mobility who needs to park or be dropped off must use the buzzer beside the barrier to speak to reception.

To celebrate Spring come along on Saturday 6th April between 2pm and 5pm to the Flower Show in St Lukes Church SE27 0HS. Refreshments and free entry.
This traditional show is run by Lambeth Horticultural Society who run the very popular flower show at The Country Show every July. If you have some lovely daffodils or tulips why not enter the competition – its 15p per competition category with over 60 categories to choose from! If gardening is not your skill how about baking, jam making or crafts?

Lambeth council has made over £200m worth of savings since 2010 due to austerity measures imposed by central government. Staff numbers have already been dramatically reduced , 14 council office buildings have been cut down to just two, and many service have gone digital . But the budget cuts from central government keep coming… The council has to make another £43m of savings over the next 4 years – at the same time as providing the vital services that residents expect and to look after the most vulnerable people in Lambeth.

Our local Tivoli Park has a Friends Group who work with residents, community groups and the council on improving the park. During a walkabout last month ( pictured) the play ground, boundary planting for Dassett Road back gardens and more seating was discussed.
The Friends are meeting on Saturday 24th November 2pm at the Fire Station on Knights Hill SE27 0QA
Come along and hear about the playground improvements and Nature Vibezzz who have plans for a Heritage Lottery Project and Knights Hill Woods.
