Back for its 3rd year is the West Norwood Free Film Festival at various venues around the town centre .

The Free Film Festival finale will be Spiderman: Into the Spider-verse shown outside the West Norwood Health & Leisure Centre on Saturday 27th April at sunset.
The festival is sponsored by local businesses: BonVelo, Stapleton Long, O Girasol and Station to Station
Parking bays on Devane Way
Parking is very limited in Devane Way SE27 – the road leading up to West Norwood Health & Leisure Centre. Most people access the centre on foot.
Next week the parking bays will be repainted to clearly indicate where parking is permitted for up to 10 minutes. Parking enforcement teams will visit from time to time. They will issue tickets to vehicles they see parked for over 10 minutes.
Barrier with buzzer
There are 5 parking spaces for blue badge holders right outside the Health & Leisure Centre. Anyone with limited mobility who needs to park or be dropped off must use the buzzer beside the barrier to speak to reception.
New play equipment for children aged 5 to 11 is due to be added to the play
are outside our Leisure Centre in time for summer 2019 .

West Norwood Feast last April
The first Feast Day in 2018 is 1st April – Easter Sunday. From April to December the first Sunday of every month is a West Norwood Feast markets day- run by volunteers.
Markets & activities are at Artisans’ Market (Chatsworth Way SE24 9HR), Food Fair (in the garden of St Luke’s church SE27 0DT), Retro Village (Rosebery’s 74-76 Knight’s Hill SE27 0JD), Family Hub (outside the West Norwood Health & Leisure Centre, Devane Way SE27 0DF) and Fresh & Green (along Norwood Road from the corner of York Hill SE27 9AF). And lots of free musical entertainments too!!

Our park covered in snow
The council is proposing some changes to the park beside the leisure centre: fencing off the children’s play area to keep out dogs, bringing back meadow flower beds and a new shrub flower bed.

Volunteering fair in January
Come along to the second Community & Volunteering Fair at West Norwood Health & Leisure Centre SE27 0DF on Tuesday 13th June between 3.30pm & 5.30pm . The first Fair held in January was a great success.
