Celebrate Christmas lights

Our South London Theatre (SLT) has just moved out of the Old Fire Station on Norwood High Street , next to St Luke’s church. The SLT has relocated, temporarily, to the Stanley Halls 12 South Norwood Hill SE25 6AB ( close to Norwood Junction station) whilst the Old Fire Station building is modernised.

Gogol’s “The Government Inspector” on Tues 3rd to Saturday 7th November is the first SLT show in the temporary venue at Stanley Halls. And Oliver! is on in December.

Fun Palace day

fun palaceOn Saturday 3rd October West Norwood Library will be transformed into a Fun Palace. Drop in at 16 Knights Hill SE27 0HY to create, share knowledge & skills and  learn something new. This is a free event for all ages showcasing the many groups and services available in the library with a chance to try new things combining science, arts and what you will. South London Theatre closing

Costume & props sale

Our local theatre, the SLT, is closing for refurbishment. 500 people dropped in to the Vintage costumes & props sale last weekend raising £3k for the theatre.  The last performances until building work is completed will be 5th to 10th October 2015 .

During the works the show will go on at Stanley Halls, 12 South Norwood Hill SE25 6AB  (5 mins from Norwood Junction station)

Next weekend ( 18th & 19th July) is the unmissable Lambeth Country Show – a great day out for all from 12 noon to 8pm. Free entry.

Norwood Forum has four grants of £400 to give out on Saturday 7th March 2-5pm at the Old Library, Knights Hill SE27 0HY.
