In recent years air quality has improved significantly in Lambeth, but much more still needs to be done to create a clean and healthy borough for everyone. The photo shows the first pavement based pollution monitoring system, located on busy A23 in Brixton, that can accurately measure the fine particulate matter PM 2.5 up to two and a half microns in diameter.
