New flats at 2 Thornlaw Road

Developers have submitted plans to replace the Trinity Baptist Church SE27 0SA  on the corner of Thornlaw Road and Knights Hill, opposite the bus garage.

The plan is for 20 new homes  ( 5 x 1 bedroom, 11 x 2 bedrooms,  4 x 3 bedrooms). 7 homes for shared ownership make up the affordable housing. The proposed building is 4 storeys high plus a basement for community use and disabled parking.

The deadline for comments is 20th September  and any decision for approval will be made by councillors at the Lambeth Planning Committee.

A local church has submitted a planning application (ref 11/04269) for an employment and business support centre in Weaver Walk. When the business support centre is not in use the church proposes  to use parts of the premises for its own gatherings . A meeting is taking place on Monday 13th February at 7pm in Trinity Baptist Church, 2 Thornlaw Road SE27 0TT to give local people an opportunity to see and discuss the plans .
