Leigham Vale temporary road closure

Thames Water plan sewer replacement works during the school summer holidays between Thursday 25 July 2024 and Tuesday 3 September 2024. The works means Leigham Vale will be closed to traffic near its junction with Knollys Road for 6 weeks.  Traffic diversions will follow the 315 bus route between Leigham Court Road and Norwood Road.

Knollys Road will be closed at the same junction between Friday 26th July and Monday 29th July for Thames Water to fix a leak.

Thames Water bus diversions

Traffic has increased on Leigham Court Road due to the closure of Streatham High Road (southbound only)  between St Leonards Church and Leigham Court Road until Friday 9th February.

All the southbound buses going in the direction of Croydon are diverted along Leigham Court Road and Streatham Common North. HGV trucks are diverted along the south circular – Christchurch Road.  

Thames Water is carrying out emergency sewage repairs 5 metres deep. The works site is opposite Pratts & Payne SW16 1HJ.
