Centre 70 is our local advice centre at 46 Knights Hill SE27 0JD (opposite West Norwood train station) and has been helping local people since it started in 1970! And many people need more help than ever . Drop in between 6pm and 8pm on Thursday 24th September to Centre 70’s open evening at Portico Gallery , 23 Knights Hill SE27 0HS to find out about the different ways Centre 70 provides support and how we can all get involved. Centre 70 going for a walk
The London Legal walk is the largest annual gathering of lawyers and the judiciary in the world. A local team are joining the walk on Monday 18th May to raise funds for Centre 70, our free advice centre at 46 Knights Hill SE27 0JD Centre 70 depends on grants and donations from charities and individuals to carry out their brilliant work see: http://centre70.org.uk/

Community sign posting Friday 31st January
In need of advice and not sure where to turn? Come along to free Community Signposting event at St Luke’s Church, Knights Hill SE27 0HS between 10am and 2pm on Friday 31st January.
Run by Norwood Foodbank, this day will offer the community an opportunity to get advice and support around a range of topics. The day is open to anyone regardless of age or current situation. Working with Lambeth SHP, Centre 70, Every Pound Counts, CAP and Ingeus, you will find advice on money management; dealing with debt; accessing bank accounts; benefits; job search support and housing.
Also information & resources about keeping warm and healthy in winter aimed at those more at risk.
And support for people preparing for an interview – including a limited range of outfits for those needing them.

Centre70 provides a great free advice service to people in the West Norwood area. Through the Easyfundraising scheme you can raise money for Centre 70 from major online retailers ……. M&S, Amazon, White Company, John Lewis, Viking Direct and many many others.
It is very simple to do – you have to register on http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/centre70 it and every time you go onto a retail site which is linked to Easyfundraising the strapline pops up asking if you want the retailer to make ( a small ) donation. Small donations can add up!

Centre 70 wins Community Award 2012
Centre 70, West Norwood’s local free advice service, won Lambeth’s Commitment to the Community Award 2012. Mark Batten and Brian Foxley were at the Lambeth Business Awards event to accept their award – pictured with local councillor and Lambeth Deputy Leader, Jackie Meldrum.
