Tivoli Park has frequent problems with fresh water springs. The bog that used to develop each winter in the park was drained by the council but at times of high rainfall it still overflows on to Tivoli Road. The Friends of Tivoli Park will be discussing a flood management plan with council staff at 2pm on Saturday 8th March at 2pm in the Portobello Community room (opposite Corktree House SE27 0QE – Tivoli Park Flood Management Project Consultation – Venue Map).
