Consultation on Lambeth’s budget 2019/20

Lambeth council has made over £200m worth of savings since 2010 due to austerity measures imposed by central government. Staff numbers have already been dramatically reduced , 14 council office buildings have been cut down to just two, and  many service have gone digital . But the budget cuts from central government keep coming…  The council has to make another £43m of savings over the next 4 years  –  at the same time as providing the vital services that residents expect and to look after the most vulnerable people in Lambeth.

The council wants to hear from residents  before it sets its budget in February. Please take part in the budget consultation ( deadline Monday January 14th https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/SJTPS23?medium=email&source=GovDelivery%3E
