Don’t miss out on your chance to vote in the general election for a new UK government on Thursday May 7th! Make sure you are registered to vote. If you have not had your registration confirmed, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
It’s now easier than ever to register to vote- just go online https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote . The latest you can register online for the May 7th election is midnight on Monday 20th April. If you apply on a paper application form it must be at Lambeth Town Hall in Brixton by 5pm on 20th April.
If you are busy, have caring responsibilities or don’t want to risk bad weather on election day why not apply to vote by post? Deadline for applications is 5pm Tuesday 21st April. The postal ballots will be delivered 18th to 20th April.
If you are away before the postal ballots are issued and 7th May you can apply for proxy vote and get someone else to vote for you. Deadline is 28th April.
