Suggestions for changing local ward boundaries

The Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE) is now looking at making changes to ward boundaries so that each councillor represents about the same number of resident electors.

Ward councillors in different parts of Lambeth represent varying numbers of residents as Lambeth’s population has increased over the last 20 years at different rates in different parts of the borough. Overall, by 2026, the Lambeth electorate is expected to increase by over 60,000 people.

To make suggestions for changes ( deadline 21st September) please check out the LGBCE web site:

https://www.lgbce.org.uk/all-reviews/greater-london/greater-london/lambeth

In Norwood there are 3 wards: Gipsy Hill, Knights Hill and Thurlow Park each with 3 councillors.
