Line Dancing at 10.30am on first Wednesday morning of the month at The British Home in Crown Lane is just one of the variety of activities targeted at older people in the West Norwood area.

Every week there are: sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays at West Norwood Health & Leisure Centre ( 020 8761 1159),  NPG holds classes on Tuesdays at The Old Library ,  an over -50s club on Thursdays from 12 noon at Emmanuel Church , Clive Road and a  gentle exercise class on Fridays at 9.30 am at All Saints Church , Lovelace Rd.

And every month there are more things to join in:  2nd Wednesdays at 2.30 pm is a tea dance ( dementia friendly)  at Portico;  U3A meets on 3rd Wednesday at The Park Tavern, Elder Rd ; a  film matinee at Portico on 3rd Wednesdays 2.30pm.
