Bowls at Ryecroft Road
Norwood has had its own lawn bowling club from 1939 at Norwood Grove in Ryecroft Road SW16 3EG off Crown Lane. The club welcomes new members – aged 16 to over 90 years.
This friendly club is keen to teach and help anyone who wants to give bowls a try. Taster sessions can be arranged for groups too. Contact the Club Secretary for details: 07538 623 879 or serif006@hotmail.com
Practice sessions are held on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday afternoons and the club play in matches at home and away. Membership fees are £40 per person for the rest of the season ending the 25th of September. Socials are held throughout the year.
