Private renting?

If you rent privately in West Norwood why not drop in to Knowles ( 294 Norwood Road SE27 9AF)  at 7pm on Thursday 25th January.

A new  group is being set up for private renters  to share experiences and ideas on how to improve the private rented sector. And someone from Generation Rent , the national campaign organisation for private renters.

London’s housing crisis means more and more people are private renters putting up with rising rents, high letting agent fees, overcrowding, rogue landlords, poorly maintained homes, rent hikes & unfair evictions.

Labour councillors believe that private renting must improve. By coming together we have a louder voice to campaign for better standards. Join local Councillor Anna Birley at the first meeting of West Norwood’s new private renter group. If you cannot make this meeting get in touch and complete a simple survey at:  http://thurlowparklabour.org/post/169770662017/join-our-meeting-on-improving-the-private-rented
