Elmcourt Health Centre
During testing Thames Water have just discovered that one of the new water main valves needs replacing. The faulty valve is under Norwood Road near Elmcourt Health Centre SE27 9AQ. This weekend Thames Water need to close one lane of traffic, with 2-way lights, so they can dig down to reach the faulty new valve deep beneath the road.
Thames Water will replace the valve by working at night from Sunday 17th May 10.30pm to 5.30am for about two weeks. This will help Thames Water keep to their revised August 2020 end-date for the Norwood Road water-mains project.
There will be an extra set of traffic lights during these night time hours only.
