Lambeth local history month

herritage festivalSeptember is Lambeth Heritage Festival with over 60 events covering  “The Lost Rivers of Lambeth”, “Some Lambeth Anniversaries”, “Architecture and Landscape”, “Culture and Recreation” and “People”. The highlights include walks along the Thames Foreshore and the hidden courses of the River Effra and Falcon Brook, linked with an exhibition “Water Lambeth” at Morley College.

Lambeth Archives Open Day on 26th September is a mix of local society stalls, talks and film with The South London Press celebrating its 150th anniversary.
