Look out for these new look shutters to be installed at the beginning of August on shop fronts at 485-491 Norwood Road SE27 9DJ (opposite B&Q). and to brighten up West Norwood’s main shopping street.
The design by Tania Jackson, of local business Red Idea, was chosen by local people in partnership with the West Norwood Feast market and the council.
Network Rail pulled out of the project to brighten up West Norwood’s rail bridges with large coloured panels ( see post 9th May ) & so this project will not go ahead.
