Lambeth council is consulting on innovative ways of running our parks. The Friends of Streatham Common, for example, are setting up a co-operative of residents to oversee The Rookery and Common.

Following a day time meeting last week the council has arranged a further meeting for Thursday 3 October 7pm- 9pm at Elmgreen School, Elmcourt Road, SE27 9BZ (near Tulse Hill rail station). Come along and have your say about th future of our local parks.

If you cannot make the meeting you can stil have a say online via a short survey on: http://www.lambeth.gov.uk/Services/Environment/ParksGreenSpaces/CooperativeParks.htm?sl=cooperativeparks
