Crown Lane primary school had 2 days notice that a team from OFSTED were coming to see the school in February. Last month OFSTED published their report that says Crown Lane Primary School is a good school, providing a good education for its pupils. Under the dynamic leadership of the headteacher the school has improved significantly since its last inspection and most pupils make good progress. Teaching is consistently good and pupils have good attitudes to their learning.
Ian Hyde, headteacher at the school, is very pleased with the inspection and that the excellent work at Crown Lane is recognised. The school has a strong inclusive ethos where all children get individual attention through an exciting curriculum.
