Construction is starting this month on a new fire station for West Norwood at 210 Knights Hill.
Local residents are invited to a meeting at Joe Hunte Court, SE27 0QU next door to the site at 6pm on Monday 19th August to meet the building contractor Willmott Dixon and the Fire Brigade. They will explain their plans for the works and what will be done to reduce disruption for local people during the construction period. The new fire station is due to open in 2015.
