Cinema plans

The council has been working on  plans with City Screen , who run independent cinemas including Clapham Picture House, for a possible cinema in the Nettlefold Hall / Library Centre – beside the cemetery entrance.

Friends of West Norwood Library have arranged  to give local people  a chance to see and comment on the plans at an early stage.

Just drop in to The Old Library, 16 Knights Hill SE27 0HY on Saturday 20^th October between 1pm and 4pm

The Nettlefold Hall / Library Centre has been closed after thieves stole the copper roof in June 2011. The latest plans are that   West Norwood Library goes  back into the Nettlefold and shares the space with a  4 screen cinema,  café and bar.
