Works are now under way to repave Norwood Road. The community-led Streetworks project came up with the design plans to change and improve Norwood Road following a series of workshops with local people.
The project is funded by Transport for London (TfL) who have set aside £7m to upgrade Norwood Road in West Norwood and the one-way system (gyratory) at Tulse Hill over a period of 5 years.
