Fallen tree in Cheviot Road
Cheviot Road was blocked with a tree felled during the high winds of the storm early on Monday morning. The council has been working with the police and fire brigade overnight to minimize disruption from at least 40 fallen trees across the borough.
Many parks will remain closed for the next few days.
